Many people say that they can carry out Driveway Cleaning, Patio Cleaning, Decking Cleaning and Tarmc Cleaning themselves by using a pressure washer purchased from a DIY store. Whilst this is true, the DIY pressure washers only produce around 100 bar of pressure and are not capable of running the Rotary Surface Cleaners that we use. We are able to clean much larger areas in a much shorter period of time.
The commercial Petrol driven units that we use produce up to 3 times this pressure, eanbling faster cleaning and the use of less water.
All of our flat surface cleaning is carried out using the latest rotary cleaning technology, again keeping water usage to a minimum, and reducing the spray of debris and dirty water to a minimum. This enables us to work close to your neighbours boundary without the risk of dirtying or damaging their property.
The Higher pressure also gaurentees a much cleaner finished product, and better removes staining from Oil, Algae Moss and Lychen.
The Driveway, Patio or Decking area to be cleaned is first cleared of debris and larger weeds are removed by hand. We then apply anti fungicidal chemicals to start to break down algae and moss that may be on the Paving or Tarmac. Then using our High Pressure Rotary Cleaners we clean the area fully before finanally washing down.

We highly recommend that after having block paving high pressure cleaned to also have it resanded as this will ensure that the paviers are locked together and prevent moving. It also helps prevent unwanted weed growth.
Re-pointing of patios is only required if the existing pointing has become loose, or a weak mix of sand and cement has been used that may become disturbed during the cleaning process.
When cleaning block paving, a return visit may be necessary as the surface must be dry before re applying displaced jointing sand. A protective sealant can then be applied if required. |
